Children’s Ministry at Immanuel Baptist Church is a part of the church dedicated to helping kids grow spiritually, learn about Jesus, and build foundational Christian faith in a safe, welcoming, and age-appropriate environment. It’s designed to partner with families so children can be nurtured in their walk with God as they grow up.
Core Purposes
1. Teach Biblical Truth
Kids are taught stories from the Bible, basic Christian beliefs, and how God’s love applies to their daily lives. Lessons are age-appropriate and often interactive to help children understand and remember what they learn.
2. Support Parents in Faith Training
The ministry works with parents — not in place of them — to reinforce the spiritual foundations children are getting at home. Parents are seen as the primary disciplers of their kids, and the ministry exists to support that role.
3. Provide Community and Fun
Activities often include singing, crafts, games, and fellowship with other children. These help kids build friendships and enjoy being part of the church family while learning about God.
